This bridge, at over five kilometres Holland's longest, has nothing to do with the nearby https://www.architectureguide.nl/project/item/prj_id/788" class="inline_link">Delta Plan. It is in fact the last phase of the Zeeland Route which begins with the tunnel under the Oude Maas river (Heinenoordtunnel), crosses the bridge/sluice/dyke triple fork at Hellegatsplein, follows the Grevelingendam and Zandkreekdam to Noord-Beveland and ends at the town of Goes.
